I'm worried about giving my keys to the walker; should I be?

There is no need for panic.  All DOGGIE TIME walkers must be pre-qualified by going through a thorough background check when hired.  DOGGIE TIME hires the best friendly, trustworthy and reliable individuals to take care of your pet.

Do I get charged for a 2nd pet?

Yes.  For walks, there is an additional $5 fee per visit per additional household pet.  For boardings, there is an additional $20 fee per day per additional household pet.

How does my walker/boarder keep me informed?

How do you know what's going on with your pet, you ask?  Your dog walker will either leave a note, send you a text, or email, whichever is agreed upon during the free in-home consultation. Boarders will determine the best way to communicate, either via text or email, depending on your preference.

 

How many dogs do you walk at once?

To maximize the bond between walker and dog, we walk our dogs individually.  Not only does this give your pet more attention, exercise, and love, but it allows us to focus fully on your pets needs.  If there is a dog park near by, and you take your pet there to socialize with other dogs, then we will accomodate per your service request.  Walks are private, unless authorized by both the client and DOGGIE TIME to visit the dog park.

Does the same person walk my dog?

Almost always, yes. The walker you meet with at the free in-home consulation will be your dog's primary walker. However, if your primary walker is unavailable because of vacation or has a scheduling conflict you will have an opportunity to meet with a qualified backup walker. We do our very best to make sure our furry friend is taken care of.

Do you walk dogs on Holidays?

Yes.  We try and accomodate all requests, however, we have families and enjoy spending time with them during Holidays, too. Therefore, there is a additional $15 charge for visits scheduled on Minor Holidays, and $25 on Major Holidays. Refer to the price list on our services page.

 

Do you take last minute boarding requests?

We will do our best to accommodate any last minute requests- We just hope there's room!  While there is no additional fee, last minute services cannot be guaranteed without sufficient notice.
