POLICIES & PROCEDURES

At DOGGIE TIME LLC, we pride ourselves in the safety & happiness of your pet and home.  Our company was established to fulfill your pets needs.  What we do here is simple, we take care of your pets when you aren’t around to.  DOGGIE TIME provides you and your pet with above and beyond professional service, and leaves you wanting more. We give our very best, because after all, the pets deserve it.

 

MEET & GREETS:

DOGGIE TIME ensures that your pet is as comfortable as possible while in our care.  Before any of our services, pet owners receive a free in-home consultation lasting 15-45 minutes, known as a meet & greet.   

 

During the meet & greet we will discuss your pet's specifics and your pet will get to know their walker/boarder first hand in your presence.  This is an important step in ensuring your pet feels comfortable while relationships start to form between dog and walker. 

 

WALKING meet & greets will take place at the pet’s home.  Pet owners and walkers should establish a method of entry into the home. *It’s recommended to share a key.  In the event of a power outage garage/door codes can fail.  

 

BOARDING meet & greets will take place in the sitters home.  This allows your pet to be introduced to the sitter, home, and property grounds.  The next time your pet comes to DOGGIE TIME, there will be familiarity and excitement.  ***No drop-offs/pick-ups on Sundays, Unless agreed upon at time of booking.

 

*DOGGIE TIME LLC reserves the right to deny service or terminate service because of safety concerns, financial issues, or inappropriate or uncomfortable circumstances.

 

 

SERVICE CONTRACTS:

At the end of a successful meet & greet, client’s must sign the service contract provided by DOGGIE TIME before any agreed upon service.  This contract ensures the client understands DOGGIE TIME LLC’s price list, policies, and procedures. 

 

 

PAYMENTS:

Invoices for DOGGIE TIME services will be sent at the end of each month. Acceptable methods of payment are cash, check, or Venmo. Payments are due upon receipt.

*An additional 6.625% tax will be charged for certain services.

 

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER:

In the event of inclement weather DOGGIE TIME employees will do their best to meet with your pet. During harsh weather, access to the pets home may be in- accessible. Walkers reserve the right to be tardy during harsh weather conditions to ensure the safety of our employees.  Have an emergency contact ready just in case.  Ideally, an emergency contact will be someone living nearby in the event roads are impassable and assistance is needed. Your pet safety and well-being is our utmost concern. We will contact you as soon as possible, keeping you informed of these events.

 

During inclement weather, when walks are still scheduled, walks may be shortened. Pets will be taken out for a quick potty break while spending the remainder of the time playing indoors.  It is requested a towel be provided on rainy days to dry off your pet after a walk.  DOGGIE TIME takes pride in leaving the house clean and this will help alleviate any mess that could take place on a rainy day.

 ** For dog walking visits- Exact time requests will not be guaranteed.  Clients must provide a 2-Hour window for the visit.

 

Included Services:  Administering medications, trimming nails, and warm snuggles are no additional cost.  DOGGIE TIME services are unmatched, as these services are often an additional fee. Please note:  These services will be discussed and agreed upon by the pet owner and DOGGIE TIME prior to service.

 

 

 

SUPPLIES:

It is the pet owner’s responsibility to provide more than adequate amounts of food, litter, treats, medications, poop bags, leashes and collars and other items needed for complete care of their pets. If we have to purchase anything necessary for the care of for your pet, it is your reasonability to reimburse DOGGIE TIME LLC. 

 

EMERGENCY VETERINARY CARE:

If your pet requires any type of emergency veterinary care while you are away, we will contact you, the owner, first. If we are unable to reach you and your pet’s condition cannot wait, we will take them to the best-suited veterinary hospital for treatment. If you have a veterinarian listed in your account, and they are open and able to see your pet, we will go there first. If they are not open or available, or if there is no veterinarian listed, we will bring your pet to the very best Vet nearby. All fees charged by the treating veterinary facility are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. There is also a fee for us, DOGGIE TIME LLC, to transport your pet to and/or from the facility.  Visit www.doggie-time.com for taxi service fees.  

 

LAST MINUTE SCHEDULING REQUESTS:

We will do our best to accommodate any last minute requests – We just hope there’s room! While there is no additional fee, last minute services cannot be guaranteed without sufficient notice.

 

DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS:

A 50% deposit is required to schedule 24-hour boarding and holiday visits.

 

24-HOUR BOARDING VISITS Have a 72-hour cancellation period prior to the date of service. Deposits will be returned to the pet owner or can be applied as a future credit. Deposits will be nonrefundable when canceled less than 72-hours.

 

HOLIDAY BOARDING VISITS have a 7-day cancellation period prior to the date of service. Deposits will be returned to the pet owner or can be applied as a future credit. Deposits will be nonrefundable when canceled less than 7 days.

 

Cancellation policies cannot be adjusted under any circumstances, as it is difficult to compensate for loss of services.

 

 

VACCINATIONS/IMMUNIZATIONS:

DOGGIE TIME Requires pets to have all necessary vaccinations and immunizations prior to the start of service. To ensure the safety of our pets, DOGGIE TIME will not be accepting puppies younger than 16 weeks and/or puppies without completed vaccinations. Please provide a photo-copy of immunizations for our records.
